The 90cm Single Roller Speargun
Part 4

In this spearfishing workshop episode, I cover my favourite single rollergun setups, starting with the 90cm speargun. This is the setup that I have found to have a good balance between power, accuracy and the overall feel of the gun.
The 900 single roller is an ideal reef gun and your best option for an all round short rollergun.

The 110 Single Roller Speargun
Part 5

In this spearfishing episode I will go over my favorite setups for the 110 single rollergun, as well as going over what I think we should be prioritizing when it comes to roller gun setups.

Is it? Power & Range, Accuracy or Handling?

My hope for this episode is not only
that you get setup up your 110 roller really well.
But that you will have a better understanding of the elements
that make a rollergun work.

The 120 Single Roller Speargun
Part 6

In this spearfishing episode I am going to be dispelling the myth that long rollerguns don’t work. As well as why I love my 120 single roller and why I think it’s the best rollergun to date made by Rob Allen.

In fact the 120 single roller is my all time favourite rollerguns and what I believe to the one best bluewater/reef all rounders available on the market. If I was could only have one gun, this would be it. Making this the best off the shelf gun made at the Rob Allen Dive Factory.

Bridle Riding Up Roller Muzzles
Bridels Riding up Roller Muzzles

This is something that happens when there is too much gradient on the rail of the roller muzzle which lifts the shaft by the notch or sharkfin instead of freely releasing the shaft. This lifting of the shaft causes inaccuracy and or wobble which also reduces the shaft speed.
In this video I show you how to fix or modify your muzzle to eliminate the bridle riding up and lifting the shaft.

The Uneven Double Wishbone Trick
The ‘ Uneven Double Wishbone’

In the previous video I covered how to modify your roller muzzle to stop the bridle riding up the muzzle causing shaft whip, inaccuracy and bridle wear.
The ‘ Uneven Double Wishbone’ is a great alternative if you dont want to cut into your muzzle or are unable to. The long and short bridles allow the shaft to be released from the shaft without affecting the accuracy of the shaft. This is actually a great tip for making any rollergun super accurate.
The video I show you how it works and how easy they are to make.
